Meet Our Leadership
Chris Chavez
Senior Pastor
Pastor Chris’ primary passion is to help people know Jesus by knowing His Word. His teaching and preaching centers on unfolding what Scripture itself declares about God, salvation, and transformation in Jesus.
His wife, Sara, has been his best friend since 2005. They have two children, Alayna and Isaac. He has led our church since 2017, and prior to that, traveled in Evangelism for 10 years speaking across the country. He also serves as the President of Hoosier Hills Baptist Camp.
Peter Ryan
Assistant Pastor / Teen Ministry
Pastor Ryan was born and raised in Herndon, Virginia; he was saved in the summer of 1998 and called to preach the following year. He attended The Crown College of the Bible from 2002-2006 and completed a Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree. He later received his Master of Divinity (2017) and Doctor of Ministry (2019) through Coopertown Bible Institute in Coopertown, TN.
Pastor Ryan served at Providence Baptist Church in Springfield, TN as assistant to the pastor from 2008-2018; and served as the Senior Pastor of Temple Baptist Church in New Castle, IN from 2018-2020. Feeling led of the Lord, he left New Castle, Indiana, and officially joined our ministry on November 23, 2020.
Pastor Ryan and his wife, Carrie have been married for 15 years and have a wonderful little boy named William. Pastor Ryan serves as an assistant to our Senior Pastor and leads our active teen ministry.
