The Eternal Godhead

    God

  • The Creator & Ruler of the Universe

We believe that God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.

We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons:

    1. The Father
    2. The Son
    3. The Holy Spirit

We believe they are co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.

  • Jesus Christ

  • The Eternal Son of God

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice; and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate.

  • The Holy Spirit

  • Co-Equal with the Father & Son

We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation.

He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.

The Work of God

    Creation

  • By Creator God in 6 Literal Days

We believe that God created the universe in six literal, 24-hour periods.

We reject evolution, the Gap Theory, the Day-Age Theory, and Theistic Evolution as unscriptural theories of origin.

  • The Bible

  • The Inspired Word of God

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed and, therefore, are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man. The Scriptures shall be interpreted according to their normal grammatical-historical meaning. We choose to use the King James Version of the Bible in our teaching and preaching.

The Fall of Man

    Human Beings

  • Created in God's Image

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God; but that, in Adam’s sin, death passed upon all men and has alienated men from God.

Because of this, man is corrupt and, of himself, unable to remedy his lost condition.

  • Eternity

  • The Existence of Heaven and Hell

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation.

To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

The Hope of Creation

    Salvation

  • A Gift of God's Grace

We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace and is received by biblical repentance and personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, trusting in His atoning sacrifice at the cross. There is no other means of being saved; we can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works.

God desires to let all people everywhere be saved; but since man has the freedom to choose, God saves only those who repent of their sins and trust Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

  • Eternal Security

  • Kept by God's Grace

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot “lose” it.

Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security. While Satan can take away our peace and security, he cannot, however, take away our salvation in Christ.

  • The Church

  • The Local Gathering of Called-Out Believers

We believe that the local church is a group of baptized believers who have voluntarily joined themselves together to carry out the Great Commission.

We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures.

We believe in the autonomy of the local church free of any external authority or control.

  • The Second Coming of Christ

  • The Return of Jesus as King

We believe in that blessed hope, the personal, imminent return of Christ Who will rapture His church prior to the seven-year tribulation period.

At the end of the Tribulation, Christ will personally and visibly return with His saints, to establish His earthly Messianic Kingdom which was promised to the nation of Israel.
